Helix Healing & Recovery treats adults with primary mental health issues and dual diagnoses in an exclusive, residential setting. While stabilization and rehabilitation are an important first step, we take a collaborative approach with our clients to support them in learning how to manage their mental health and substance abuse issues. Our residential program offers a variety of holistic and empirically-based approaches to address the cognitive, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual aspects of healing and recovery. Additionally, clients and their therapists may elect to utilize specific treatment modalities with more frequency in order to target specific mental health symptoms. Our experienced clinical team treats adults within the following contexts:
Helix Healing & Recovery is nestled in the beautiful hills of San Diego, just 20 minutes from the coast. Our warm and luxurious accommodations provide what we believe to be the ideal place for healing. Our 2 acre estate is surrounded by beautiful trees and foliage, which offers a private, safe, and serene environment to work on personal improvement. The mild weather of San Diego allows our clients the opportunity to spend a lot of time outdoors whether, gardening in our community garden, practicing yoga on our outdoor yoga deck, or meditating in one of our several tranquil meditation areas.
Our home is arranged in a way to ensure you feel comfortable during your time with us. When not in session or groups, you can shoot pool or play a game of ping pong in our recreation room, watch TV in our tastefully decorated living room, work out in our state of the art gym, or read in one of our comfortable nooks. At Helix Healing & Recovery we offer thoughtfully decorated private bedrooms, bathrooms, and decks to support our clients in feeling at home.

My wife and I really appreciate everything the staff at Helix Healing & Recovery did to help our son recover from the depressive state he was in when he entered the facility. This program is excellent, and we are especially appreciative of Dr. Dellner's efforts. She was so supportive of our son, and it was apparent he respected her and trusted her which was so important for his recovery. He often commented how much he liked all of the staff. Every time my wife and I spoke with Dr Dellner we were amazed at her perceptive evaluation of our son, and we could clearly understand what steps she was undertaking to help him recover, and what the path forward was to him stabilizing and learning the tools/ long-term coping skills necessary for him to leave the program a changed person. We want to extend a sincere THANK YOU to the entire staff at the facility, and especially to Danielle for her efforts.
